Dr Tuhin Maity is an Assistant Professor at School of Physics, IISER Thiruvananthapuram, India. Before that he was a Marie-Curie Postdoctoral Fellow at Dept. of Materials Science, University of Cambridge, UK . He is doing research on micro and nanostructured ferroic materials. Dr Tuhin Maity has been awarded Marie Curie Fellowship 2017 by European Commission. Prestigious, stipendiary European Union Research Fellowship for two years, awarded on the basis of outstanding track record and research plans. Running independent research Projects in two separate areas: • Next generation high density memory to address increasing demand for storage. • New materials for room temperature multiferroics. Received independent funds from Isaac Newton Trust to accelerate the project on high density memory.

26 Jan - 29 Jan 2020 at the Physikzentrum Bad Honnef (Germany) and won poster prize.
